As a result of the war on the territory of Ukraine launched by the Russian Federation on February 24, the flow of Western companies massively breaking off cooperation with Russia is rapidly increasing. Some world giants have only suspended cooperation, while others, even in the event of a withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine, do not intend to return to cooperation. Which companies left Russia? What will be the consequences?
No use of family services for Russians
As you can see, as a result of military aggression, Russia must pay its citizens not only with the usual comfort, but also with access to the following necessary services:
- Apple and Apple Pay. Apple completely and irrevocably exited the aggressor country's market. Russians won't even be able to use Apple Pay. To understand the scale of what is happening, we can say that the latest iPhones are the last thing Russians have right now.
- Google Pay and Samsung Pay. Following the Apple Pay payment system for Russian consumers, payments through Google Pay and completely through Samsung Pay are blocked.
- PayPal. With the help of the PayPal payment system, it will no longer be possible to withdraw money to the card of any Russian bank.
- Visa and MasterCard suspended the production of payment cards for all, without exception, Russian banks that fell under global sanctions. Since March 2, payment systems have also joined these global giants American Express, Etsy, Webmoney, Yandex and Paysera. If legal entities and individuals can still use these cards on the territory of the Russian Federation, then this will no longer be possible abroad. The ban is also imposed on payments made on the Internet.
- Twitter and Facebook, like many other social networks are an integral part of the hobby of people around the world. Russia is no exception. Due to the escalation of the military conflict over Ukraine, Russians will no longer be able to create accounts using these services. In addition, RKN has completely blocked access to Twitter and Facebook.
- fans only closed for Belarusian and Russian models.
- A large number of channels YouTubeassociated with the Russian Federation as well as their monetization are not available in Europe. YouTube itself has also banned advertising and video monetization for Russian bloggers.
- Estonian taxi service Screw will stop carrying passengers in Russia. exactly the same as jooble will stop employing Russians.
The list is almost endless – H&M, Lego, IKEA, Mango, Oracle, Farfetch, ASOS, Jysk.
Bloomberg, CNN, CBC, BBC, ABC and several other independent media outlets are leaving the country. Along with the RKN blocking a huge number of websites and resources, Russians are left to read the news and find out information only in state publications.
The global automobile and aeronautical industry for Russia is now in the past!

All these companies not only stop supplying new cars to Russia, but also close factories, official service centers and the supply of spare parts and components.
This means that now only Chinese components will have to be used to repair any Chevrolet car (but that is still in question, because China can also join the sanctions). The price of all cars from these manufacturers, which are already in Russia, in showrooms and sales centers, has increased several times.

What will happen next – the consequences for the Russians?
The sanctions and restrictions that were introduced today against the Russian Federation are the most powerful tool that has a tremendous impact on the country's economy. The entire world is rapidly refusing Russian oil and fuel, one of the country's best “leverages” for the outside world and the West as a whole.
Today, more than 80 international companies have left the Russian Federation, and the list grows by the hour. The country awaits isolation and the “Iranian scenario”. Earlier, we talked about the consequences of sanctions against Russia for all residents of the country.
The difficulty is that closing points of sale and terminating contracts is not just the impossibility of buying new tires or ordering cheap car tires. But also a huge number (hundreds of thousands of people, if not more) jobs.
only in one IKEA factory employs more than 15,000 Russians. The Renault-Nissan factory in Togliatti stopped working and started laying off workers en masse, it is hoped that before 35,000 people will lose their jobs.
Even Russian companies started losing money and cutting staff – “Yandex warned that up to 12,000 people will be out of work due to the risk of default in the company.
